MAIN GALLERY

WALKING GALLERY


A mock-up of the Urban city environment which will allow artists to rent wall space to paint and display art as is done on back streets and alley ways up to front windows in cities. This gallery for exposition of urban art in all forms will consist of a massive space, which will be a wide-open area with divider walls from floor to ceiling. All areas of this room will be covered in art from top to bottom to be reserved and painted on a contract/space time constrained basis. Everything from the walls, to the floor, to the ceiling will have art across it in a variety of styles from stencil to oil, graffiti and stencil. Separation walls that create a walk around constant changing art, within these walls will be sectioned off space for frames to be displayed against white walls. A 4-foot tall white out area will be on every wall starting 4 feet from the ground and rising 3 1/2 feet tall. In this area will be displayed framed art in gallery fashion.  A path will take you either around the sides of the gallery or through it around the walls and through various freestanding art installations and statues.  You will be emerged in art with only a white line 3 feet thick around the whole place for hanging art on display. There will be an Internet area with multimedia displayed and access to information on artists on display, street art, upcoming events, video and other information all on computer monitors and flat panel displays.

HISTORY OF STREET ART WALL

One whole wall in the main gallery will showcase a mock city skyline. Each building will represent an era in street art, starting on its left with the origin on the walls of caves (literally in mock up caves in a mock park) that leads to the first building/wall which shows the past, then the next building shows the 70s, the 80s, 90s, and new millennium art is on the last wall/building.

MOCK TRAIN YARD

We will have 3 real train cars set up in the museum to be painted and show the infamous train yards that artist are known to paint.

INTERNET AREA

Using computers, Monitors and multimedia graphics combined with web protocol and interactive programming we will give the power to surf the net, find facts, look up artists, promote items and much more.

The ART INCUBATOR

SCHOOL

This will be a full teaching facility for the training and teaching of the arts. This will be a free program to teach not only the arts but also the business side of art including expos on both artistic style and art business. We will have Beginners/Advanced Beginners: Introduction to basic techniques. Classes will be designed for the true novice and returning students in need have a refresher or further instruction. This will be a multilevel facility, open to both beginners and experienced students, classes will be designed for students of all skill levels with projects appropriate for each. Providing Intermediate/Advanced courses for development of skill and exploration of theme and content we will have classes that are designed for students who have completed beginner courses at the Art Incubator or have a professional background and are looking for refresher courses, advanced skills and studio time. Students still in regular school classes will be required to seek the approval of their school before enrollment and must show grades above a B average, not have a criminal record for graffiti in 2 years, and pass other criteria set for the standard of an applicant. We will teach children constructive ways to use art and the process of taking themselves professional and making money on their art. We will be dedicated to bringing artists and audience together through our commitment to promoting, supporting and encouraging the fine arts..

ARTIST STUDIOS

The museum will feature working artist lofts rented out monthly to use as working space and will also be open to the public for viewing and purchasing of such art pieces. Each area can consist of multiple artists and all art sold has a percentage given of the profit to the museum. This lively community of artists working in a non-competitive environment will encourage and inspire artistic growth in individuals. The Art Incubator will support the arts through an artist program, gallery space, studio space, education and an outreach program.

MUSIC STUDIO

We will have full facilities to record and produce music artists from start to finish. Discovering new talent they will be instructed on vocal training and develop tracks on location with working professionals. They will be taught the whole process of mastering, product development, marketing and more in today’s music industry. In this mission we will encourage new artist to take hold of their talent with today’s self-made music industry.

PHOTO STUDIO

A full photo lab including digital tools like computers and output machines along with a full photography dark room will be available for students of the art. We will show photographers how to turn their craft into profit and they will also have a chance to display their art in the gallery, sell their art in the auction house, and create a name in the art world.

FILM BAY

Consisting of all aspects needed to create a feature film from cameras, lighting and equipment to editing bays and design centers.

AUCTION HOUSE / PREMIER THEATER / SCREENING ROOM

A room with a stage that has a theatrical size screen behind and rows of seats will be used to auction off work done by the artists from the school and studios in The Art Incubator . Art featured in the gallery will also have a chance at going for auction. Money from the sales will go to the artist to help nurture their professionalism with partial proceeds going to the Museum. It will also have a stage for Plays and performances. Conferences can be held here. There will be a feature film size for screenings and premiers of films made through the program and premiers of other genre based films that comply with museum theme.
